October Blog a Day Challenge – 1
I’m just a good old Canadian kid, trying my best to be the best I can be.
I have two daughters, that I love more than anything, and I hope that I am making them proud of me.
I love my Edmonton Oilers. Yes, I know they’re not mine. Nor do I think that I am part of the team. But that won’t stop me from using the terms “we” and “us” when talking about them from the game the night before.
I’m a huge fan of Dave Matthews Band. I have seen this band live many times in different cities, and by far the best venue to experience this show is the Gorge Amphitheatre in Washington State.
I grew up with a controller in my hand, and this is still one of my hobbies. When I need a mental break or have to get away from all my life for a little bit. My earliest memory is of playing Zelda or Ice Hockey on the Nintendo Entertainment System.
I have a passion for helping and supporting people to get what they want and desire in life. I believe mentoring and coaching can happen to and by all ages. We can all learn from others, especially those that are of different ages, genders, races, or religions. I love knowing that I have helped guide the way for others to become a better version of themselves.
Mental Health is extremely important to me. As I fight through depression daily, some days are much better than others. But every day takes me through another adventure with my demons. If you or someone you know suffers from mental health problems, specifically depression, the best thing to do is talk if it’s you and listen if it’s your friend.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by and reading about me
