This experience was more than just a personal “can I do it” this challenge was for my mind body and soul. making it to my mat every day, either at home alone or at the studio with a group of sweaty people, was the best thing I could have done for myself. Challenging yourself to see if you have what it takes to complete the task gives you so much confidence in what you can do in your life. If you put your mind to something, no matter how difficult, you can accomplish anything. the mental strength you need to do something that is so physically demanding, and if you have not been to a hot yoga session, I implore you to challenge yourself to do it, only help you see better in all aspects of life. I specifically committed to this challenge this month as it was my last month as an employee and entering my world of running my own business. I needed to know I had what it takes to be that person that could commit and finish. And I knew I could, but now I proved it to myself. This is a callout for you, what can you challenge yourself to do be become a better you. List some things that you have wanted to do, pick one and make a commitment to yourself, then set a date and start. For so many people, starting is the hardest thing, as you tend to get ion your own way, this is your time to start. set the date and go. One of the best quotes I have ever read “The best time to plant a tree was ten years ago, the second-best time, today”. Plant that tree and start your thing, challenge yourself and go out and do it.
